Once

Posted : 16 years, 2 months ago on 7 March 2008 03:59 (A review of Once)

A wonderful movie, with an awesome soundtrack, which I am getting now that I have seen the movie. This is definitely a great movie I am glad I picked up!

Dan in Real Life

Posted : 16 years, 2 months ago on 6 March 2008 09:01 (A review of Dan in Real Life)

This is not a pure comedy. It is a comedy/drama, and it is a great movie, with excellent music. Great story, with some very funny moments, as well as some heartbreaking ones. Excellent cast and acting. I loved this film.

Death Proof

Posted : 16 years, 2 months ago on 4 March 2008 07:48 (A review of Death Proof)

This is the first time I have seen this movie (am saving the other half for tomorrow), and I really enjoyed the stunts and action. Some things, I could have done without, but overall, a really good film. I hope Planet Terror is as good.

The Nines

Posted : 16 years, 2 months ago on 4 March 2008 07:46 (A review of The Nines (Special Edition))

Once again, a movie I had never heard of, but one that I liked. Not as good as Donnie Darko (which some say this is like...and it is somewhat similar)...but still quite good. Some things, I could have done without, and I also would have liked a bit more from the movie, but I thought the acting was really good even if the story was somewhat lacking.

Sydney White

Posted : 16 years, 2 months ago on 4 March 2008 03:26 (A review of Sydney White)

Cute movie, silly, but watchable. Predictable ending, and a modern day Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs story. The movie ends with a happy ending, of course, just like the fairy tale does, but even though you can see what happens coming, this is a decent family-type movie.

My Kid Could Paint That

I don't watch a lot of documentaries normally, but this one was interesting. I had heard of this little girl years ago, so it was nice to be able to watch this and learn a little more, but I would have liked to know more about what her life is like now.

I Know Who Killed Me

Posted : 16 years, 2 months ago on 3 March 2008 05:20 (A review of I Know Who Killed Me)

Hmmm...well, I knew this wouldn't be a great movie, but I must say I was surprised to find that it was really really terrible. Bad story, bad acting, and definitely a horrible ending. If you're into crappy horror/suspense films, watch this once, but really, not worth the time, since you can see the end coming from the very beginning.

Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont

Posted : 16 years, 2 months ago on 3 March 2008 05:18 (A review of Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont)

I had never heard of this movie, which I took home from work, seeing that it was classified as a comedy. Watching it, I discovered that it was barely a comedy, and was kind of painful to watch. There is no character development through the movie, and it just plods along until the very predictable end. Not great, definitely a waste of time to watch.
